Volkswagen Foundation Award for PD Dr. Harun Tüysüz
The Department of Heterogeneous Catalysis at the Max-Planck-Institut für Kohlenforschung is delighted to announce that over the next five years the Volkswagen Foundation will support a joint project by PD Dr. Harun Tüysüz with the University of Düsseldorf and the University of Strasbourg, which is part of the "Life - A New Scientific Approach to the Basic Principles of Life" funding area.
The foundation is providing 1.5 million euros in funding to enable PD Dr. Harun Tüysüz, Prof. Dr. William F. Martin (University of Düsseldorf) and Prof. Dr. Joseph Moran (University of Strasbourg) to carry out the project entitled "Forming catalysts: A basic principle of deep chemistry, life chemistry and life".
