Ruoji Luo honored by GDCh as best student with a master degree in analytic chemistry
The GDCh (Gesellschaft Deutscher Chemiker) named Ruoji Luo best student with a master degree in analytic chemistry of the year 2015. Luo studies "Water Science" at University Duisburg Essen and worked out his master thesis at Max-Planck-Institut für Kohlenforschung in the department of Massenspektrometrie of Prof. Wolfgang Schrader. The GDCh now honored his master thesis on „Investigation of Oil Spills: the photooxidative degredation of crude oil“ as best master thesis in analytic chemistry of 2015.
Luo is investigating the analytic and technical treatment of contaminated water via different "advanced oxidation processes" . Prof. Wolfgang Schrader is very proud of Ruoji Luo who ist still working in the department of Massenspektrometrie and doing research work on the contamination of the environment while working for his doctorate.
