Television tip for the weekend: Prof. Ferdi Schüth will be guest of TV-program “Wissen im Fluss” on Sunday, May 22 from 7:15 to 8:00 pm.TV-presenter and meteorologist Karsten Schwanke is meeting renowned scientists on his houseboat. In a very personal talk the spectator gets to know the fascinating world of the guest scientist and the person behind it. On Sunday, May 22nd Professor Ferdi Schüth, Director at the Max-Planck-Institut für Kohlenforschung and Vice-President of the Max-Planck-Society will be guest to Schwanke. The Mülheim chemist talks about his research work, his greatest challenges and about, what is driving him.

“Wissen im Fluss” with Prof. Ferdi Schüth will be presented on ARD-alpha on Sunday, May 22nd from  7:15 to 8:00 pm and repeated on Sunday, May 29 from 1:15 pm. After the broadcast, the program can also be found in the ARD media library
