New research group “Metal-Organic Framework and Nanoparticle Catalysis” of Dr. Constanze Neumann under construction: Applications from PhD students and postdocs welcome

Dr. Constanze Neumann from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge USA will join the MPI für Kohlenforschung in June 2020 and set up the new independent research group "Metal-Organic Framework and Nanoparticle Catalysis". The 32-year-old has been successful in the highly competitive "Lise Meitner Excellence Program" of the Max Planck Society and is thus one of nine female researchers who will be given the opportunity to establish an independent research group at a Max Planck Institute of their choice. Funding will initially be provided for five years. Connie Neumann is expected to move to Mülheim an der Ruhr in June 2020 and is already looking forward to receiving applications from interested PhD and postdoctoral students who wish to work on the development of new reactions and the optimization of catalysts.
