Frank Neese opens conference highlight for theoretical chemists. 350 participants meet at the 9th MQM - Molecular Quantum Mechanics - in Heidelberg

In Heidelberg, Professor Frank Neese opened the conference highlight for theoretical chemistry scientists yesterday. The 9th MQM - Molecular Quantum Mechanics Conference - brings scientists from all over the world together in Heidelberg for a six-day high-calibre scientific programme at the Kongresshaus Heidelberg.

After Stefan Grimme from Bonn, Benedetta Mennucci from Pisa and Anna Krylov from the United States spoke on Sunday. The first historical contribution is expected today. Volker Stämmler will speak in honour of Prof. Werner Kutzelnigg, who attends the conference. Frank Neese is the scientific chair of the event.
