17 new apprentices have started their apprenticeship at the Max-Planck-Institutes in Mülheim

17 new apprentices have started their apprenticeship at the Max-Planck-Institutes in Mülheim

Today, 17 new apprentices have started their apprenticeship at the Max-Planck-Institutes in Mülheim. Within the next two or three years the laboratory chemists and physicians will have an apprenticeship consisting of practical training, lessons at school and lessons in the training laboratory of the Institute. The Max-Planck-Institut für Kohlenforschung and the Max-Planck-Institut für Chemische EnergieKonversion together are the biggest trainer of laboratory personnel in Mülheim an der Ruhr. The 17 new apprentices consist of nine laboratory chemists, four laboratory physicians and each one industry mechanic, one installation mechanic, one IT specialist and one carpenter.

Petra Wedemann, the responsible for apprenticeship in the Max-Planck-Insitut für Kohlenforschung welcomed the new apprentices together with Willi Schlamann from MPI CEC and showed them around on their first day in the institute.
