Christos Sidiropoulos, a doctoral student in Prof. Dr. Claudia Weidenthaler's research group, received the Advanced Synthesis & Catalysis Award from Wiley.

Great honor for great work: Christos Sidiropoulos, doctoral student in Prof. Dr. Claudia Weidenthaler’s Powder Diffraction and Surface Spectroscopy research group, has been awarded the Advanced Synthesis & Catalysis Award sponsored by Wiley.

Sidiropoulos had presented the group’s latest research at the conference: “Our project focused on a systematic study we conducted on the in-situ investigation of Sr-promoted perovskite catalysts for hydrogen production via ammonia decomposition”. Sidiropoulos stated that: “Our aim was to establish a clear activity-performance relationship by combining catalytic testing with advanced analytical techniques.”

The award was presented during the 59th Annual Meeting of the German Catalysts Society in Weimar.
