The lecture themed “Fire and Flames for Mülheim” in the frame of the “Local Heroes” campaign of Ruhr2010.
Sparkling flames, thunderous explosions, and fascinating chemistry have been demonstrated to about 1.500 stunned spectators in the amphitheater of Mülheim an der Ruhr. Prof. Ferdi Schüth led the audience into the world of chemistry and humorously explained difficult chemistry to the citizens of Mülheim. The open air lecture of Ferdi Schüth was a great success and has been accompanied by a concert of two local musicians.
