Registration is open for triennial event "Molecular Quantum Mechanics" taking place in Heidelberg from June 30 to July 5

Registration is open for triennial event

The series of „Molecular Quantum Mechanics“ conferences are held as a triennial event and traditionally honor the scientific achievements of leading scientists in the field of molecular quantum mechanics, who usually were born in the host country.

The MQM 2019 in Germany will be held in honor of Prof. Werner Kutzelnigg, Prof. Wilfried Meyer and Prof. Sigrid Peyerimhoff and in memory of Prof. Reinhart Ahlrichs. All of these four outstanding scientists have made seminal contributions to the field of electronic structure theory, in particularly to the understanding of electron correlation phenomena and in the development of new and powerful approximation methods in this area.

It will take place at Heidelberg, June 30 to July 5 at the Kongresshaus Stadthalle.

The conference will be on general subjects in theoretical chemistry but with an emphasis on wave function theory. All together almost 70 oral presentations, including four historic lectures, will be delivered and two poster sessions will be held. The scientific chair of the event ist Professor Frank Neese.

Registration and call for abstracts is open now. Please visit the event-website:
