Piano concert at the Kohlenforschung: Visitors donate more than 850 Euro for UNICEF

Mülheim. A piano concert given by Prof. Nuno Maulide of the University of Vienna marked the end of the event series during the Centennial of the Max Planck Institut für Kohlenforschung. The Portuguese scientist came back to his old work-place extra for this performance.

He gave a “guided concert” in front of 200 people in the audience. Not only did he play pieces by Debussy, Chopin, Bach and Schubert, but he also commented on the songs in an informative and entertaining way.

Donations for a charity organization for children


The audience did not have to pay anything to listen to the music. But Nuno Maulide, who has given charitiy concerts for UNICEF in the past, asked for donations for the charity organization for children. More than 850 Euro were collected.
