The training of young scientists has always been important to Frank Neese: "In my many years as an honorary professor at the University of Bonn, I have accompanied a large number of students in theoretical chemistry on their career path. The new connection as an honorary professor at the University of Duisburg-Essen complements our training program for young researchers in close proximity to the MPI.
