Ferdi Schüth speaks on scientific approaches and challenges regarding the Climate Crisis in a public lecture of the UDE4future initiative on April 15

For the first time, the UDE4future initiative of the University of Duisburg-Essen is offering a series of public lectures and discussions around various aspects of climate change for the summer semester 2021. "Climate Crisis and the Ruhr Area - Understanding and Acting on Climate Change" is the name of the lecture series, which is explicitly aimed at interested parties outside the university and offers its public and free lectures on the internet platform Zoom.

In addition to technical and scientific approaches to solutions, the aim is also to discuss how citizens' acceptance and their individual behavioral changes can contribute to greater climate protection.

The webinars take place every two weeks on Thursdays at 4 p.m. and start with the lecture by Professor Ferdi Schüth. Registration is via the website: https://www.uni-due.de/ude4future/ringvorlesung
